What to expect at our consultation events

We have a number of consultation events planned so it’s time to start preparing for your visit.

We know that visiting a public event may feel a little different for a while, but rest assured that your safety and well being is our highest priority.

Almost three quarters of people give their feedback online. But if you would like to visit our events we’d be delighted to see you.

Here are some things to expect and steps we can all take to meet safely:

  • Do not travel or come to an event if you have COVID-19 symptoms
  • Check this page before you travel – our events may change if the venue or our staff are affected by a local outbreak (Scroll down to see our events list)
  • Please wear a mask – for your safety and ours, we strongly encourage the wearing of face masks at our indoor events
  • Keep a safe distance – during busy times we may control entry to make sure you have space to see our materials and speak to the team safely

Our mask policy

To protect you and our team, as well as make sure we can hold our full programme of events across the route, we strongly encourage all of our visitors to wear masks at our indoor venues.

On arrival

To make sure there is enough room for you to see the consultation materials and speak to our team, we may limit entry into our event. During busy periods this may mean you have to queue, but we will let you in as soon as we can.

Want to speak to the team another way? Book a telephone call back or sign up to one of our webinars.

Inside or out?

Where there is space, we are bringing our exhibition outside. There will be displays explaining our plans, staff to answer your questions, and copies of our materials to take away.

Where there isn’t space outside we have chosen large, well ventilated venues. Inside or out, we’ll have lots of hand sanitizer and carry out regular cleaning.

Scroll down for our event listings which have outdoor space.

Our staff

All of our team will be wearing face masks. If we are running short of staff due to the pandemic we will open our doors so you can see and pick-up consultation materials, but we may ask you to arrange a telephone call back or sign up to a webinar to speak to a member of the team.
